FRAME REPAIRS
The point of maximum demolition. This gives some idea of just how much of the stern had to be rebuilt. New frames going in, each of which is a very complicated three dimensional shape that has to be a good fit.

HOG REPAIRS
A major section of the pitch pine hog was in bad condition. It was encased in wrought iron frames that couldn't be removed. So the decision was to make a replacement in two halves, slide them in and fasten. Dense oily iroko again.
